BBC Worldwide has secured a multi-year licensing deal for Hey Duggee in Italy with Chicco.
Hey Duggee product is set to launch in Chicco stores this autumn and will include plush and new talking plush toys featuring dubbed Italian voices from the localised version of the TV series, figurines and playsets, as well as Golden Bear’s toy range.

Chicco joins a raft of global BBC Worldwide licensees for Hey Duggee, including Golden Bear for plush toys, Jazwares for Master Toy in the US and Jasnor, who distribute both Golden Bear’s plush toy range and Jazware’s figurines and playsets in Australia.
BBC Worldwide has also released details of new UK softline deals for Hey Duggee. VMC are on board to make Hey Duggee accessories such as hats, gloves and scarves, as well as dress-up items. Trade Mark Collections will be bringing a range of Hey Duggee backpacks and umbrellas to the market, while Roy Lowe & Sons have inked a deal with BBC Worldwide to create Hey Duggee socks and William Lamb are signed-up for footwear, including slippers and wellington boots. These new partners join BBC Worldwide’s licensing portfolio for Hey Duggee, which on softlines include Aykroyd and TDP for nightwear, underwear and swimwear, Blues Clothing for daywear and Blue Sky Designs who create a range of art, stationery and activity products.
