Hey Duggee: The Counting Badge is available to download now.

BBC Worldwide, in partnership with app developer Scary Beasties, has launched Hey Duggee’s first educational app, Hey Duggee: The Counting Badge. The app is priced at £2.99/$2.75 and is available to download from the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore on iOS and Android devices.

The app has Early Years Foundation Stage numeracy learning objectives at its core and offers a rich mix of engaging counting tasks, while automatically-adjusting difficulty levels ensure that the app caters for the varying abilities of Hey Duggee fans.

Many of the favourite characters from the series appear throughout the app, including Hey Duggee, Naughty Monkey, the Punky Penguins, and the Chickens.

The Bafta and International Emmy award-winning pre-school series Hey Duggee is a break-out hit on CBeebies in the UK and consistently ranks as one of the Top 3 programmes on the channel.

Season 3 is greenlit and expected to air in the UK next autumn, while further new episodes for Season 2 are anticipated to air on CBeebies, including a Christmas Special this December.
