Entertainment One drives growth for its family properties in Latin America

Entertainment One have announced plans to strengthen its operations in Latin America with a new appointment to manage its portfolio of television properties including Peppa Pig and PJ Masks.

Bruna Sawada, who joins the company in the newly created role of Regional Territory Manager – Brazil, will be reporting to London based Murilo Hinojosa, who leads consumer products for the entire Latin American region.

Based in eOne’s new São Paulo office, Bruna Sawada will execute a strategy to expand the footprint of the brand’s portfolio throughout Brazil. Additional team members based in the firm’s London office will further bolster the Lat Am infrastructure by providing retail marketing and product development resources to ensure long-term commercial success.

Reporting into Ami Dieckman, Head of International Licensing for eOne Family, Murilo Hinojosa will continue to build a team across all commercial functions with a strategic focus on building the licensing programmes of its key properties in Brazil. Working in close collaboration with eOne’s global franchise management team based in London, he will also oversee the firm’s relationships with licensing agents, retailers and broadcasters within Latin America.
