The partnership will see the roll out of dolls, dress-up items and more for DC Super Hero Girls.
Jakks Pacific has signed a multi-year, global licensing deal with Warner Bros Consumer Products to manufacture, market and distribute large Action Pose dolls, everyday dress-up and Get Ready for Action-segment items based on the DC Super Hero Girls universe.
Jill Nordquist, senior vice president at Jakks, commented: “We’re excited that Warner Bros, on behalf of DC Entertainment, has decided to partner with Jakks on the all-new DC Super Hero Girls franchise. Our full range of products will inspire kids to break boundaries and to discover their inner hero through play”.
“This groundbreaking franchise continues to expand and we’re thrilled for Jakks Pacific to join the global licensing programme,” said Julian Montoya, vice president, global toys for Warner Bros. Consumer Products. “With its new DC Super Hero Girls toy line inspired by the iconic female DC Super Heroes, kids will be empowered to get into the larger-than-life action.”
Jakks Pacific’s DC Super Hero Girls line will be available at retailers in autumn 2017.
