Through the deal, the toy company will have rights to create a full line of products based on the brand, including plush, figures and playsets, dolls, role play, remote control toys and novelty items. The product will begin its global retail rollout beginning in autumn 2016.

The Powerpuff Girls franchise launch will introduce a new generation of fans to the cartoon. During its original 78-episode run, the series earned two Emmy Awards along with five nominations.
