Brand new CBeebies Land Hotel opens at Alton Towers Resort

Published on: July 14th, 2017

Alton Towers Resort has opened the doors to the new CBeebies Land Hotel.

The world’s only CBeebies Land Hotel is designed for pre-schoolers and young families and features 76 fully themed rooms. The hotel is home to its own dedicated entertainment area, restaurant and a reception area which includes a central CBeebies Bugbie storybook feature with interactive lights and audio. On arrival at the entrance, guests are greeted by the CBeebies Land plane and a brightly coloured lit rainbow archway. Children will also meet some of their favourite characters within the hotel including Postman Pat, Bing, and Little Monster.

All rooms in the CBeebies Land Hotel are designed with a separate area for children and parents, and include a children’s entertainment wall with interactive play items. CBeebies Bugbies adorn the standard rooms while premium rooms are themed to Swashbuckle, Something Special, In The Night Garden, Postman Pat, and Octonauts.

With a 14-hour entertainment schedule for guests to enjoy, CBeebies Land Hotel guests can enjoy meet and greets with characters Bing and Postman Pat, a Swashbuckle game show and Andy’s Dinosaur Hunt.

The brand new hotel is located in the heart of Alton Towers Resort, and just a stone’s throw from its iconic theme park. Launched in 2014, CBeebies Land is bigger than ever for 2017, with the addition of two brand new experiences earlier this year: Go Jetters Vroomster Zoom Ride, and The Furchester Hotel Live Show.

Stephen Davies, director of live events and audio music BBC Worldwide, commented: “The new CBeebies Land Hotel is an exciting development, which allows for a fully immersive experience for pre-school children to interact with their favourite CBeebies shows, in an environment that will engage parents too. BBC Worldwide is delighted to continue its successful partnership with Merlin at one of Britain’s best loved theme park resorts. We’re all looking forward to booking in.”
