The figures from Big Chief Studios will be available to see on the company’s stand.
Those attending the show should head on over to Big Chief’s stand F76 in Hall 5 to see first-hand the scaled representations of characters from some of the most beloved British films and television series of the last 50 years.
Fans of James Bond will be treated to the first showing in public of Big Chief’s 007 Collector Edition series of sixth scale figures. Beginning with 1964’s Goldfinger, highly detailed figures of James Bond (Sean Connery), Auric Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe) and Oddjob (Harold Sakata) will be on display. With more figures on the way from the franchise, 2017 promises to be an exciting time for fans of the world’s greatest secret agent. Pre-orders for the Goldfinger figures begin this February.
Big Chief will also be showcasing its upcoming Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet character replica series of figures. Utilising castings from moulds, many of which were used in the production of the original shows, Big Chief’s artists took 3D scans, which were further manipulated by the company’s digital sculptors, to create the most faithful and accurate versions of Gerry Anderson’s puppet characters.
Expanding its range of Doctor Who Sixth Scale Collector Figures, fans of the Time Lord can expect to see the final Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) figure, alongside forthcoming figures including Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman), Rose Tyler (Billie Piper), The War Doctor (Sir John Hurt) and Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman).
With forthcoming figures from the Sherlock special The Abominable Bride and Gladiator, there is a lot to see at Big Chief’s stand.
