Manage and grow the Export business in European markets.
More specifically, work closely with the International Account Manager and Moose team members to develop allocated territories by promoting Moose products to key major export distribution customers.
Ability to develop and manage cross-cultural relationships, with experience operating with overseas headquarters and Hong/Kong subsidiaries;
Marketing and market development experience and sound negotiation and influencing skills; Demonstrable toy industry and retail knowledge;
Experience or knowledge of European markets;
Professional presentation skills; Team player, but with proven capability to work autonomously as required;
o Effective communication skills both written and verbal;
o Highly computer literate;
o Effective interpersonal skills;
o Strong research and analytical skills;
o Identify and develop new business opportunities;
o An ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
You Will Need:
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role;
Experience working with toys or children’s products, with knowledge of the main influencers in European markets;
Relevant degree/qualification (preferred).
Responsibilities: Marketing, Promotion and Strategy
To promote Moose products and brands to export distribution customers as per the department strategy;
Establish ongoing working relationships with distributors to assist in building the Moose brand;
Liaise with the Marketing Director to ensure knowledge of all marketing activity and promotions for Moose product;
Work with distributors to implement marketing initiatives to fully support the launch and growth of Moose brands within each markets guidelines;
Closely understand the dynamics of the market place and have an in-depth knowledge of all the forces at play, competitors, pricing and products;
Identify new distribution opportunities – channels and partners;
Communicate all relevant information to distributors which will support them and bring about market growth;
Liaise with internal teams on specific product development and logistics issues;
Analyse and report on current business position and highlight opportunities for growth.
International Trade Fairs
Attend major International Trade Fairs;
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers;
Continue to drive and maximise current brands in each market;
Present new programs to all markets, confirming the best distribution partner for each brand.
Support the International Account Manager to set and achieve the Export Budget in agreed markets;
Support the International Account Manager to achieve customer margin requirements.
