Nigel Clarke, co-host of the hit series, The Baby Club, on CBeebies has announced the upcoming launch of his new Dadvengers parenting podcast. The initial run of twenty episodes has been sponsored by Basic Fun and will feature branded K’Nex and Tonka messages at intervals.

The podcast, designed to engage with parents and discuss a variety of parenting subjects, will feature a celebrity Dad guest in each episode. Guests include an England rugby player, a Strictly Come Dancing winner, a boyband singer and CBeebies legend.

Launching on the 15th October, Nigel’s aim is to capitalise on his UK celebrity Dad influencer status. Nigel hosts weekly live Dad chats on Instagram and is watched by millions of households across the UK daily, whether on TV or on social media. Nigel now wants to leverage his relationships with parents across the UK to connect with Dads and Mums who need support, inspiration and guidance on their parenting journey via the podcast.

The podcast will be available on all podcast platforms and will be promoted by Nigel’s Dadvengers website and social channels. Dadvengers is the first Dad support network hosted and driven by a UK celebrity Dad.

Holly Lackey, marketing director at Basic Fun said: “We are delighted to be involved with Nigel and the opening series of his Dadvengers Podcasts. This new medium has become incredibly popular and provides a superb way to connect with listeners when they are relaxed and enjoying this entertaining content. What’s more with one of the nation’s celebrity fathers talking with his guests on the topic of the day, these podcasts have been created specifically with hands-on dads in mind; what better way than to reconnect the listener with a heritage brand of their own childhoods such as Tonka, and a family bonding activity such as K’Nex.”

Nigel would like to hear from companies who would be interested in connecting with parents and would like to sponsor the Podcast series in 2021. To get in contact with Nigel email info@dadvengers.com.
