Toy World November issue

The November issue of Toy World landed on desks this week, and is now available to read online on the Toy World website.

As another year fast approaches, this issue looks ahead at the all-important Q1 period, with a dedicated feature highlighting the up and coming ranges set to launch between Boxing Day 2020 and Easter 2021. Plus, with outdoor items seeing major success over summer, and big-box outdoor products poised for a top spot on wish lists this Christmas, the November issue also highlights the latest in the sector, including exclusive comments from outdoor toy suppliers and retailers in a feature article, and a special feature from outdoor toy manufacturer, Dolu.

Following Miles Penhallow’s early retirement from the AIS buying group, we caught up with Rosie Marshall, who has taken on the role as head of plaY-room, the company’s toy and children’s gift division, to find out more about her appointment, and what Rosie aims to bring to the group.

Also, don’t miss Toy World’s interview with marketing director at Toymaster, Paul Reader. Since the independent buying group has undergone some substantial changes in recent weeks; which began with Ian Edmunds’ departure from the group following more than 20 years, Paul discusses his hopes for the months (and years) ahead, and how 2020 is likely to pan out after what’s been a rollercoaster year.

Plus, following a bumper year for the arts & crafts sector, Damien Collett, head of sales, UK & Ireland, SES Creative, sat down with Toy World to discuss more about the company and what there is to look forward to in 2021.

And that’s not all – readers can also hear the latest from Character Options, as well as our regular features, such as Talking Shop, Fresh and Allegedly, plus input from the NPD Group, Toy Barnhaus, Richard Derr, Kids Know Best and Generation Media.
