The results of the Creative Play Awards recognise products which enhance creative development in young children.
After months of testing, the 2020 Creative Play Awards results have now been announced. The awards are sponsored and organised by Creative Steps magazine, which promotes creative play as vital in a child’s development. The results of these awards recognise the products which enhance creative development in young children and are designed to be beneficial to the consumer when making purchasing decisions.
John Hopley, editor of Creative Steps, commented: “Despite the challenging climate this year, I am delighted to report a 29% increase in the record number of entries for the 2020 Creative Play Awards. Now in its 13th year, the quality and increased number of entries in 2020 is a testament to the high regard these Awards are accorded, recognising the best creative play toys, games, books and resources. We feel it is vital to have the products tested by end-users and have sent out more than 140 products to independent testers in homes, schools, early years and childcare settings around the country. Perhaps more than ever this year, the importance of learning through creative play for children has been highlighted and these awards help parents, teachers and carers find quality products that allow them to do so.”
