2020 Beyblade Burst Digital Beymaster Invitational winner announced

The Beymaster Invitational was streamed live on master toy partner Hasbro’s Facebook page throughout October.

The global brand, Beyblade Burst, renowned for its physical spinning tops, held its first-ever digital Beymaster Invitational throughout October, pitting 12 popular Beyblade influencers against each other in a one-of-a-kind virtual worldwide competition. Brazil’s Cyprus’s Channel was crowned the ultimate champion, securing the trophy and a $10,000 cash prize.

The competition featured a dozen well-known influencers including OsvarutoBeyz, Beyblade Geeks and Ninja Kidz TV. Facilitated through the Beyblade Burst app, the Beymaster Invitational featured these top contenders from around the globe who competed in a virtual head-to-head championship using digital versions of Beyblade tops, with eliminations taking place every round. Fans were able to participate at home by casting their votes for their favourite influencer on the Beyblade Burst app.

The competition was streamed live on master toy partner Hasbro’s Facebook page, with preliminary battles taking place on 17th October, while the Quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final matches culminated on 24th October. Fans can watch Part 1 and Part 2 of the championship on the Beyblade Burst official Youtube Channel.

A global phenomenon originating in Japan in 1999, the Beyblade brand is currently in its third generation, with five animated seasons to date, including Beyblade Burst Surge which is set to air in 2021.

Fans can download the Beyblade Burst app and join more than 1b online battles that have taken place around the world, while testing out different top combinations in head-to-head battle or in multi-player tournament mode.

Hasbro and ADK Emotions anticipate more fan engagement with the app in the year to come. 2021 will be another eventful year for the brand with new top innovations, a new animation season, more content, and 20th anniversary plans on the way.
