Accentuate Games to feature on Dragons’ Den

Published on: 13th July 2015

The brother and sister team behind Accentuate Games are to step into the Dragons’ Den with their guess-the-accent party game.

Accentuate-wordpressGraeme and Fiona Fraser-Bell feature in the second episode of the new series, which returns to the BBC with three new Dragons – Nick Jenkins, Sarah Willingham and Touker Suleyman – joining Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden.

Graeme said: “We released Accentuate just over a year ago and we’re selling well through John Lewis and, as well as in a number of independent shops all around the UK. However, we want to take it to the next level with overseas editions, various expansion packs and a mobile app, so we hope to entice a Dragon who can see the potential of a game.”

Fiona added: “Taking our game into the Den was nerve-wracking and exciting all at once. We spent weeks working on our pitch, yet nothing could have prepared us for the tense reality of the Den environment. It’s quite possibly been the most exhilarating, stressful and surreal experience of our lives.”

Hollywood stars Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane got into the spirit of Accentuate, playing on-air during the Capital Breakfast Show with Lisa Snowdon and Dave Berry. To view the video click here.

The Dragon’s Den episode will air on Sunday 19th July at 8pm on BBC2.
