To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Action Man, Art + Science International, under licence from Hasbro, is launching a specially developed range of handmade Collector Edition Action Man figures.

The 50th anniversary Action Soldier and Footballer figures are now on sale. The figures are available from a number of leading UK high street retailers, independents, and specialist/online retailers. The 50th anniversary British Infantryman, Ski Patrol, Paratrooper and Scuba Diver will be available to purchase from January 2017.

The 50th Anniversary collection will be available until autumn 2017, and new additions to the limited edition range will be announced early 2017. The Collector Editions are inspired by the best of the Action Man brand and will feature accessories, gripping hands, the realistic flock hair, iconic dog tag and the famous scar.

“This unique range has been developed for the gift and collector’s market and we hope that it triggers many fond memories of everyone’s childhood play. Through these product releases we hope to capture the very best of the Action Man brand”, said Peter Rooke, managing director of Art + Science International.
