With Addo Play confirming a stellar year of sales last week, it has now announced it is looking to expand into further international markets with its growing portfolio of brands.
Its exclusive retail partner in the UK, The Entertainer toy shops, announced Addo finished as its 4th biggest supplier in value at retail.
The markets it seeks to expand into are the Middle East, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, and the Ukraine. Several of its licensed ranges are being handled by distribution partners in the North American markets. With the signing of a licensing deal with WowWee for its Fingerlings brand, this will be represented by it in North America, whilst Just Play will be representing JoJo Siwa and Jazwares Liquid Lava Putty.
Addo offers key sellers in multiple categories and by using modular packaging it is able to create bespoke capsule collections for its customers.
For this worldwide expansion, Addo Play has employed several new team members to instigate its International Sales plan.
Laetitia Westerman joins Addo Play as sales director, and will be pushing continued growth internationally and opening-up new markets for its existing brands.
Hannah Pickersgill joined Addo as international sales executive, and will be responsible for the sales and development of key territories.
Kerry Rimmer has joined as sales administrator and trade marketing executive.
David Martin, joint MD at Addo Play, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Laetitia, Hannah and Kerry to the Addo family. We are looking forward to continued growth internationally and opening up new markets for our existing brands with Laetitia at the helm. Our success with our retail partner has helped encourage new markets to see the value in our toys and we will be showing our full range of products and welcoming International customers to our showroom at Distoy in May.”
