Airfix offers Falklands collection

Airfix has launched a collection of commemorative aircraft models to mark the 30th anniversary of the Falklands War of 1982.

The collections features the  BAe Sea Harrier (1:48), Douglas A-4 Skyhawk (1:72)and Pucara (1:72 available to Club members only), which offers a choice of two aircraft as flown by the Argentine Air Force.

The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk and the BAe Sea Harrier FRS-1 are also packaged together in a Dogfight Double pack.

Darrell Burge, Airfix marketing manager, commented: “The Falklands War commemorative models give enthusiasts an opportunity to get up close with the various aircrafts  involved in the Falklands conflict. We are delighted to be able to offer a range of models to suit all stages of model enthusiasts.”
