Alpha Animation & Toys introduces new team members in both the UK and Ireland.

Since the early appointment of Lauren Evans, business support executive in January, the UK arm of Alpha Group has more than doubled in size in its first six months of business.

Joining the UK sales team is Lisa Cox, senior account manager. Lisa has over 14 years of experience in account management, and has worked in a number of different industries including F&B, infant care and toys. Lisa’s expertise includes managing many retailers across wholesale, independents, grocery and specialists.

Also joining as senior account manager is Kirsty Gray. With nearly 20 years’ experience of working in the technology industry, Kirsty has managed the largest retailers within both domestic and international markets. Kirsty moved into the toy industry in January 2015 and during this time has managed top tier retail accounts such as Argos, Tesco, The Entertainer and The Range.

Lisa and Kirsty will be working across Alpha’s range of products, including Super Wings, Drone Force and more, handling a portfolio of large retailer accounts.

Kerry Tarrant, marketing manager, joined the team in April. Kerry started her journey in the toy industry 10 years ago as marketing assistant, working her way up to marketing manager. Kerry has solid experience marketing heritage brands such as Aqua Beads, Plasticine, Thunderbirds and Animagic. Kerry brings a wealth of knowledge across all areas of the marketing mix and will play an integral part in marketing plans across the launch of Alpha’s key brands such as Super Wings and Drone Force.

For Ireland, Andrew McCormick joins the team at the start of August. Andrew is an experienced and well connected agent and brings excellent relationships with retailers across the territory gained through his 15+ years in the toy industry.

Mark Hyndman, country general manager – UK & Ireland, commented: “Along with our most recent addition Andrew McCormick in Ireland, I’m thrilled to welcome our three new UK team members. At Alpha, our ambition is to bring innovative and quality products to the market. We have a growing portfolio of properties and content for a varied demographic, offering key USP’s and play patterns and I believe, with our extended UK team, we will have a very successful 2017/18.”
