Alpha Animation & Toys UK makes debut at London Toy Fair

Published on: 23rd January 2019

The company’s inaugural exhibit can be found at stand B90.

This comes after just two years of growth in the UK for the global animation and entertainment group, following a robust strategy of brand innovation and audience engagement, headed up by general manager, Mark Slater-Hyndman.

Unveiled for the first time at the show are new introductions from the hugely successful pre-school smash, Super Wings, including new winning formats and heavily promoted, TV advertised lines. The star of the show ‘High Flying Jett’, lives up to his name and not only flies in for the special occasion, but takes watch over proceedings from the skies above the stand.

From a standing start in the UK in January 2017, the team have pioneered the growth of a full portfolio of brands, further bolstered into 2019 with some best in class properties and truly ground-breaking innovations in product design.

Not content with a traditional showcase, Alpha’s pursuit to deliver something new and different offers visitors to the stand some hands-on fun and super-sized play with Airnormous, the company’s larger than life, role-play inflatable range. The proprietary range is on display at Toy Fair with a range of WWE products.

Alpha has also unleashed new powerful designs in Remote Control for autumn/winter 2019 along with some new concept innovations.

Mark Slater-Hyndman commented: “All our hard work over the last two years is now on full display for all our retailers, existing and new, to see and experience. We’ve seen our much-loved animation, Super Wings take flight at incredible altitudes, launched a whole new unrivalled category in super-sized inflatable role-play, delivered the ultimate in RC technology and are thrilled, as Nickelodeon have issued a global master toy deal for us to join them in celebrating 20 years of SpongeBob SquarePants – we couldn’t be more excited to lift off into 2019.”

As well as this week being the premier outing for Alpha Animation at London Toy Fair, the company have also lifted the curtain on its new consumer brand website www.alphatoysuk.com, a fun, bright hub covering all latest activity to satisfy insatiable audience demand for product news, content and retail links.
