Amazon announces Toy team changes

Online retailer Amazon has announced a number of organisational changes to its Toy team, that will take effect from January 2013.

Rakhi Parekh, director of Home, Garden, Toys, Pets, DIY and Automotive, will be moving into a new role heading up the Media team. As a result, John Boumphrey, currently responsible for Music and DVD, will be coming in as director, Indoor, with responsibilities for the Toys, Home and Appliances categories.

Ulrike Wingenter-Davey, currently category leader for Toys, is moving to Beijing in the new year to join Amazon’s China Retail team, and Victoria Nelson, currently category leader for Jewellery and Watches, will take over as category leader for Toys in January.
