Amazon Prime day to focus on toys

The toy category has been picked out as one of the key drivers of this year’s event.

Amazon480The shopping event is back on 12th July, and is available only to Prime subscribers. Members will be able to start shopping for deals from midnight.

Amazon plans to make the event bigger and better than before, by this year focusing especially on TV and toy deals.

There will be more than 100,000 deals worldwide, making it the biggest Amazon sale yet.

Doug Gurr, Amazon UK managing director, commented: “The response to Prime Day in 2015 surpassed all our expectations here in the UK, so we’re delighted to be bringing this major summer deals day back for our UK Prime members in 2016, with even more great deals available”.
