Ambassadors open new doors at John Crane

Published on: 20th July 2012

On July 19th John Crane opened its very new doors to press.

After a few weeks settling into the new premises, the showroom was set up and walk round tours were organised for consumer press and influential bloggers.

Part of an ongoing campaign by John Crane is their Ambassador Programme, where numerous John Crane fans are assigned to blog and tweet about the company on a regular basis. After seeing all the toys on show, the Ambassadors were asked for their Top Ten toys:

  1. Pintoy Fire Series
  2. Symphony in B
  3. Tidlo High Tea Shape Matching Set
  4. Happy Farm set by Sevi
  5. Best Bussi Large Rabbit by Trudi
  6. Pintoy Ride on Digger
  7. Tidlo Paragon Pirate ship
  8. Tidlo City of London Train set
  9. Sevi Multi Level garage
  10. On The Move children’s suitcases by Lilliputiens

Marketing manager Helen Davis commented: “It’s really interesting to ask mums and dads for their top ten John Crane toys, as it’s often different to the toys we may have added to the list. We’ve also run some extensive market research recently too, by using this and the Ambassador Programme it keeps us grounded, and able to assess whether we are achieving our aims.”
