Argos is running a synchronised marketing campaign across print, digital and in-store media promoting the exclusive Hero Jump Matt Hatter app during the three week Easter holiday period.
Platinum Film’s CEO Nigel Stone commented: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Argos on this multimedia initiative. Second-screen innovation is integral to the Matt Hatter brand, and Argos has seamlessly aligned in-store TV advertising, digital content and more traditional printed flyers in a forward thinking campaign which drills down to the DNA of the Matt Hatter property. I believe this to be another step in Argos’ repositioning as a digitally-led business.”
The Argos Easter campaign coincides with UK ratings success on ITV and CiTV on weekend mornings, which has seen Matt Hatter consistently out-perform its slot average.
The UK licensing programme rolls out later this year and is being spearheaded by ITVS GE who represent Matt Hatter Chronicles across merchandising, publishing, promotional and home entertainment rights in UK, Eire, Australia and New Zealand.
