Argos names Wow Stuff! Jedi Training Remote as top Star Wars toy

Published on: 6th November 2017

Retailer is encouraging fans to secure theirs before launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in December.

The Wow Stuff! Jedi Training Remote, a miniature droid that resembles the Jedi training device featured in the films, has been hailed as the Star Wars toy of the season by buyers at Argos. The retailer is anticipating further sales when Star Wars: The Last Jedi is released in the UK on 14th December, and in the run-up to Christmas.

Lindsay Rogers, Buyer for Gifts at Argos, commented: “We’ve seen how popular the Jedi Training Remote is – a flying gadget that aspiring Jedi use for training. It’s one of those tech items that comes along every couple of years that takes everyone by surprise and it’s been a big hit ahead of the movie launch this season.”

The Jedi Training Remote encourages fans to use the ‘power of the Force’ to control the propeller-powered droid and train for combat.

Since its launch last month, Jedi Training Remote sales have been positive, and the droid has been listed by The Independent as a “top Star Wars: The Last Jedi product”.
