Asmodee UK has announced the impending release of Ticket to Ride: New York, a simple version of the globally popular family board game, Ticket to Ride.
An ‘express’ edition of the format that has made Ticket to Ride a hit with families, Ticket to Ride: New York sees players racing around 1960s New York City in taxis, visiting landmarks and completing destination tickets to score points.
This standalone game is fast-paced, extremely portable and can be learned within three minutes – perfect for new players and veterans alike.
Ticket to Ride: New York is designed for two-to-four players, is suitable for ages eight and above, and can be played in 10-15 minutes. It will launch in July for a retail price of just £19.99.
Fans of the Ticket to Ride franchise need not wait for the release date to try their hand at the latest offering, with copies of Ticket to Ride: New York available to play on the Days of Wonder booth at this year’s UK Games Expo. The show takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from 1st – 3rd June.
