Former managing director Thierry Bourret will now focus on developing the Slow Toy Movement.Thierry_300

After six years at the helm of Asobi, Thierry Bourret has announced that he stepped down from his position as managing director at the end of December 2014 to focus on developing the Slow Toy Movement and exploring new commercial opportunities.

Thierry founded the Slow Toy Movement in 2011. Slow Toy’s annual award ceremony is a toy industry event that has been hosted by Selfridges, Harrods and John Lewis. The movement was designed to emphasise the importance of toys which ignite the imagination, inspire creativity and give children the freedom to develop at their own pace. In 2015 Thierry will be exploring opportunities to expand the global reach of the movement, as well as deploying his experience in new toy-related projects.
