Asobi inks deal for new ride-on

Published on: 18th May 2012

Asobi now has the exclusive distribution rights to the retail trade for the original Didicar in the UK and Ireland.

The Didicar, suitable for children three years plus, is a self-propelled ride-on that encompasses all elements of the perfect toy. Being self-propelled means that it is always ready to go with no need to change batteries or start up motors.

Children can also customise their car with a variety of fun sticker packs. Overall, the Didicar guarantees retailers an innovative toy that is a real all-rounder, and a must have for their customers.

Ian Amis MD from Simac Marketing commented: “We are thrilled to be working with Asobi as their commitment to traditional play truly reflects our own. The Didicar has already been a huge success, so I am excited to see what will happen now we have Asobi on board.”

Thierry Bourret, Asobi’s owner and founder added: “Didicar is a great addition to our unique range. It will provide the UK and Ireland with a top quality toy that is perfect for all ages, easy to store, suitable for outdoor and indoor play, is good to the environment, allows children to sit, learn and roll using their own initiative, and a great toy to encourage traditional play”
