Attacknids tipped as top Xmas toy by Hamleys

Published on: 29th June 2012

Combat Creatures, Attacknids, has been tipped by Hamleys as the top toy for Christmas after its late entry to its special PR day.

Attacknids are the first product to be released under the Combat Creatures brand from Wow! Stuff, and the Hamleys event was the first time the robots were seen by the press.

The battling robots stand at 10 inches tall and come with ‘combat armor’ that shoots off on impact, a battle brain that shuts the robot down if hit three times, and interchangeable weapons that fire at high speed.

Richard North, CEO of Wow! Stuff, commented: “We aim to make great, innovative toys and that’s something we know we’ve done with the Attacknids. The instant response that we’ve got from people on the Attacknids is really exciting. Having this support from Hamleys is fantastic, and makes all the hard work the team have put into developing the product worthwhile.”
