Partnership with the star of ITVBe’s The Mummy Diaries is part of the brand’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
Baby Annabell has a host of benefits beyond just play, including helping with a child’s development, learning to care for another, and as a tool to help introduce a new sibling to the family.
Billie Faiers commented: “I grew up playing with Baby Annabell so it’s really special to now be able to pass on a childhood toy to my own daughter. When Arthur was born, I was nervous to see how Nelly would react to a new baby taking her spotlight, but having a doll like Baby Annabell was a huge help – teaching Nelly how to hold a baby, take care of her and be gentle ready for her baby brother.”
Launching in September, Baby Annabell has created a limited edition doll to celebrate 20 years of the brand – Baby Annabell My Special Day, complete with a celebratory birthday outfit, party accessories including cupcakes and party plates, and eight lifelike functions. Baby Annabell My Special Day responds to touch, can cry real tears, closes her eyes when rocked gently back and forth, eats, sucks her dummy and bottle, babbles and even wets her nappy. Promoting imaginative role-play, Baby Annabell encourages the development of key nurturing and social skills from a young age.
