Recently launched in the US, and currently rolling out worldwide, babyGap has introduced a limited-edition collection featuring Paddington.
Drawing from the original Peggy Fortnum book illustrations, Paddington Bear will star in a new gift and clothing collection for babyGap. Inspired by Paddington Bear himself, the babyGap collection draws from his classic wardrobe and gives it a new, modern twist through quirky graphics that embody his sense of adventure and provides imaginative gifts for girls and boys from newborn to 24 months.
“Paddington Bear is a universally loved character, known for his adventures, spirit, polite attitude and his style,” said Jane Pattinson, vice president global babyGap design. “We feel that our babyGap customers will love the playful designs – from Paddington’s iconic blue duffel coat, yellow wellington boots to polka-dot ponchos, to quirky bear inspired hats – whether they’re looking for a special baby gift or a fun addition to their own little one’s wardrobe.”
The collection, ranging in size from newborn to 24 months, is grounded in denim, featuring his iconic blue duffel coat, yellow wellies, brightly colored denim, quirky graphics on t-shirts, tops and soft knit graphic bodysuits. This limited-edition collection is available now at selected global Gap stores, as well as www.gap.com.
The worldwide premier of the Paddington movie will take place in the UK on 28th November 2014 and will launch in the US on 12th December.
