Bandai bolsters team at new Richmond office

Following its relocation to new offices, Bandai has announced a trio of appointments within its marketing and sales team.

Bandai-Sept-2016-480Emma King joins as junior product manager from Disney Consumer Products. Previous toy experience includes product developing dress-up ranges for all Disney brands. Emma will be looking after the girls’ brands at Bandai, as well as a new brand that will be announced later in the year.

Dave Glicksman has joined as key account manager focusing on the London flagship stores, department stores and mail order. He has previously worked for Bandai as a sales agent, and has an extensive background in the toy industry, dating back to the early 1980s.

James Keys has also joined as sales agent, representing the South East area. James has been a sales agent since 2009, and represents some of the UK’s largest toy companies.

Clive Smith, Bandai’s general manager, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Emma, Dave and James to Bandai following our recent relocation from Southampton to new purpose built offices in Richmond. They are joining Bandai at an exciting time. Power Rangers is experiencing strong sales growth versus last year, and next spring will see a new big screen Power Rangers movie from Lionsgate – the first in nearly 20 years. Emma, Dave and James each bring with them invaluable experience that will help us take our business to the next level.”
