BBC Worldwide has agreed the UK licensing rights for the programme presented by BAFTA-award winner and MBE, Justin Fletcher.
Golden Bear has been awarded the UK master toy license for Something Special, and will develop a range of products to launch in Autumn/Winter 2012. The highlights of the range will include a Mr Tumble tea set, an interactive toy telephone and of course Mr Tumble soft toys. Jumbo Games will produce four shaped puzzles in a box for September 2012, with a puzzle assortment, memo and floor game planned for release next year. Portico, have already launched their Something Special card range and will follow this with a calendar. Celebration cakes are in development with the McCambridge Group and Trade Mark will be producing their very own iconic Mr Tumble spotty bag.

Something Special is a children’s TV show that has been carefully designed for all children including those with learning and communication difficulties. Over a hundred episodes of Something Special have broadcast on CBeebies since launch in 2003 and the show is consistently one of the channel’s top performers. Something Special and Mr Tumble have also proven a success with initial programme extensions including the launch of a stand-alone magazine, and has fast become a huge hit on DVD with a new release this September.
