Arriving on CBeebies early next year, Hey Duggee is a place for children and parents to have fun, be energetic and do things. The show is based around a children’s playgroup called The Squirrel Club where kids have adventures and earn badges for their accomplishments.

Clare Piggott, head of merchandising, BBC Worldwide UK, said: “Our agreement with Golden Bear follows hugely successful launches of Something Special and CBeebies product. Hey Duggee offers a treasure trove of adventures and we are very excited to begin the creation of some fantastic new toys to help take young fans enjoyment of the show even further.”

Barry Hughes, commerical director, Golden Bear, added: “We are thrilled to be appointed master toy licensee for Hey Duggee. The whole team at Golden Bear fell in love with the show on first viewing and we can’t wait to bring Hey Duggee toys to the market. We are sure the show will be a massive hit with pre-schoolers and their parents alike as soon as it goes on air on the nation’s most watched pre-school channel.”

Sue Goffe, Studio AKA Productions’ managing director, said: “We are delighted to hear that Golden Bear Toys will be joining us on the Hey Duggee adventure. We can’t wait to share the show with everyone when it airs on CBeebies in the New Year.”
