Bid now on the Toy Trust Media Auction!

Published on: 19th January 2022

The annual Toy Trust Media Auction has opened for bids and will continue throughout Toy Fair until Thursday 27th January.

Advance bids are welcome in the annual auction of valuable airtime, magazine and online items. The auction will continue throughout Toy Fair 2022 at Olympia London from 25th – 27th January and will close at 3pm on Thursday 27th January, the last day of the event.

Bids can be placed online here or in person via auction boards – which will be positioned on the BTHA Exhibiting Members Lounge at Toy Fair on stand Upper Level 205.

As the second largest fundraising activity for the Toy Trust each year, the annual Media Auction is a classic win-win scenario for all. Companies can bag themselves a media bargain whilst all funds raised go to help the Toy Trust’s chosen children’s charities throughout the year.

Last year’s event, which was scaled back and took place online only, due to the cancellation of London Toy Fair, raised over £72k for The Toy Trust.

Highly valuable airtime, online and printed media spots have been kindly donated from leading media outlets, including Toy World, plus major retailers have also added valuable promotional slots in catalogues. The result is a colossal £100,000+ of media space to bid for.

Lots have been received from SKY, Warner Media, Nickelodeon, CITV, Five (Milkshake), SuperAwesome, Red Media Sales, Diversity Media Sales, Moobug, POP TV, Zoopla, Toy World, Toy News, Toys n Playthings, The Entertainer and Redan Publishing. Details of each can be viewed on the Toy Trust Media Auction page, which will also be updated at intervals with the current highest bids.

Graham Canning, Toy Trust Committee chairman, commented: “On behalf of the Toy Trust committee, I’d like to thank all our media partners for their continued, incredibly generous support of the Toy Trust Media Auction which continues to offer a very competitive and attractive selection of slots to bid on. Without our media partners, we would not be able to support so many causes that directly benefit children throughout the year. This annual fundraising activity is a popular part of the industry’s calendar and one that everyone benefits from; we are all looking forward to seeing the results. I’d also like to give special thanks to Havas Entertainment’s Jeff Taylor for his dedication in helping us creating another superb list to bid for.”
