Big Potato opens Shoreditch pop-up

Published on: 23rd November 2017

Big Potato will be resident for one week only at the new pop-up shop in BoxPark Shoreditch.

The indie board game company will be selling its entire range of games, and there will also be guest appearances during the week from the Scandinavian classic Klask, and Dutch kick-starter sensation Foooty.

BoxPark is a jumble of shipping containers, known for hosting pop-up restaurants and stores from famous brands to up-and-coming ones. It opened in 2011 and was the first pop-up store mall in the world. Previous BoxPark Shoreditch tenants include Kiehls, Snapchat, Fjallraven and Levi’s.

Big Potato’s pop-up features a window full of potatoes, designed like a seaside peep board, where customers can pose for a photo opp. Inside are all 10 of the company’s best-selling titles, including celebrity-rhyming game Obama Llama, award-winning spot-the-imposter game The Chameleon, and its party game Truth Bombs, made in collaboration with YouTube stars, Dan & Phil.

The shop opened on Tuesday 21st and will continue till Sunday 26th of November, and is situated 100m from the Big Potato head office.
