Big Potato wins Best Stand at Toy Fair

Published on: 26th January 2016

The team won the award for the Shell Scheme section.

Tris, co-creator of Big Potato, who also designed the stand himself, told Toy World: “Being called Big Potato and having just launched The Chip Shop initiative, we either had to go with a chip shop theme or a fruit and vegetable stand theme, and none of us fancied bringing in a deep fat fryer.”

The stand is decorated with a grassy floor and hessian decor, including Big Potato sacks made of hessian, and crates for seats. Games old and new were on display with a sample of a FSDU completing the look.

Obama Llama creator and Radio 1 DJ Matt Edmonson was present at the stand yesterday to showcase his game and to support the team.

The Green Board Game Co. also won the award for Best Stand for an open space stand.
