Bigjigs Toys increases presence in Daniel of Windsor

UK wooden toy retailer Bigjigs has installed a new 12ft x 4ft POS gondola to increase the brand’s presence in Daniel of Windsor department store.Bigjigs300

The four sided installation featuring products from the Bigjigs Toys, Bigjigs Rail and Baby Bigjigs ranges, has allowed the store to greatly expand its selection. Since its arrival in-store, sales of Bigjigs products have seen circa 20% increase in sales week on week. The design which includes shelf talkers, shelf strips and branded side panels is intended to create a powerful in-store presence, attracting new customers as well as those already familiar with the brand.

In addition to the gondola, Bigjigs have spent the past year providing merchandising solutions for retailers with the introduction of 2ft stands, display stands and miscellaneous items such as shelf strips, shelf talkers and window display packs –allowing retailers the chance to maximise their customers’ exposure to the brand.

Warren Du Preez, toy buyer at Daniel of Windsor, commented: “Since installing the Bigjigs shopfit, sales have once again improved week on week drastically exceeding expectations whilst simultaneously providing the Bigjigs brand an easily recognisable area for the consumer within our large toy department.

Managing director Liz Ireland added: “We are delighted that the Bigjigs gondola has had a positive impact within Daniels of Windsor. We are always looking at ways to improve merchandising solutions for our retailers and this installation highlights how we are providing our retailers with the very best tools to sell our products.”
