Bigjigs Toys beat 700 nominations to land the award at a ceremony in Goldsmiths’ Hall in London last week. The wooden toy manufacturer was recognised for its achievements and contributions to the toy industry, performance of the business and its commitment to supporting the high street retailer.

Liz Ireland, director, commented: “We are absolutely ecstatic to have won this award – to win it out of 700 nominations really is something, we are chuffed to bits. We have to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the business over the years, and we look forward to making the next 29 years of business as successful as the last.”

Now in its fifth year, the Red Ribbon Awards celebrate Britain’s finest family-run businesses; previous winners have included Michel Roux Jr, The Entertainer, The Cambridge Satchel Company and more.
