The move by Tesco to stock BinWeevils.com trading cards in over 900 of its stores comes as the BAFTA award-winning property continues to show growth at retail. Character Options launched BinWeevils.com master toy range in October last year.
BinWeevils.com membership cards will join a growing list of BinWeevils.com product stocked by Tesco, including toys, magazines, trading cards and stickers, with new product set to debut later this year. Tesco’s support for the franchise includes extensive point of sale activity around BinWeevils.com toy and magazine products.
The purchase of a BinWeevils.com membership card gives kids a month’s premium access to www.binweevils.com for £4.95 or six months for £19.95, enabling kids to become Bin Tycoons. As Bin Tycoons kids can get exclusive virtual items to decorate and personalise their Bin Nest, plus VIP access at Bin parties. They can also create and publish their own magazines and develop and open their own businesses, including photo studios and party rooms.
