Bladez Toyz makes TV debut with Teletubbies campaign

The company’s first TV advert airs today.

Bladez-&-Teletubbies-TV-Ad-Bladez Toyz’ three-week campaign for its Teletubbies radio control inflatables range hits the small screen today, just in time for Christmas. The 20” spot for Teletubbies, filmed by Mark TV in Italy, introduces the new collection of radio control characters from the TV series, as well as featuring the Teletubbies Boppers and water-filled inflatable Tubby Time playmat.

The campaign will be seen on Milkshake, Nick Jr and other leading pre-school channels, and will run until 11th December. Digital activity on Sky Go and My5 has also gone live this month to help promote the new range to parents and grandparents.

Vicki Marler-Hausen, marketing manager at Bladez, commented: “Today is a momentous day for the Bladez team, as this campaign has been a long time in the making. We are proud to finally watch our innovative toys appear on TV and to know they are being seen in homes up and down the country. It also demonstrates our commitment to Teletubbies and how keen we are to support our retailer partners at such an important time of year. This will be the first TV advertising campaign of many, as we are now planning more adverts for 2017.”
