BLE 2016 to clash with Yom Kippur

Next year’s BLE has been scheduled from 11th to 13th October, whilst Yom Kippur is to take place from 11th to 12th of the same month.

BLE-480UBM Advanstar has apologised for the conflicting dates and has engaged in extensive discussions about how best to work around this challenge.

However, after lengthy discussions with Olympia London, it has been confirmed that it will not be possible to alter the dates of BLE 2016.

The main reason for this is that the City of London has lost its only alternative and central exhibition venue, Earls Court, due to its sale last year for redevelopment. Therefore the majority of Earls Court staged exhibitions have now moved venues to Olympia, resulting in an extremely tight schedule of back-to-back year round events.

UBM Avanstar has guaranteed that it will have no such date clashes from 2017 and beyond.
