The new range of certified sustainable cotton bedding will be available this autumn from independent retailers.
Boutique bedding specialist Dreamtex is launching its eagerly anticipated sustainable Bluey bedding for autumn 2021, partnering with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) programme for the first time.
The hit pre-school series Bluey, which is produced by the multi Emmy award-winning Ludo Studio and co-commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios, is a welcome addition to Dreamtex’s pre-school bedding portfolio. Available in single size and made from 100% BCI cotton, the launch duvet design is called ‘Family’ and focuses on character artwork of the lovable and adventurous Bluey and her Blue Heeler dog family. Both the duvet and pillowcase are reversible so young Bluey fans can choose which side they sleep under each night.
Jo Duckworth, director of Dreamtex, commented: “The team has been excited to bring Bluey homewares to the UK for a long time now. We all know how popular the TV series is in Australia and it’s no surprise it is performing so strongly on CBeebies since making its on-air debut earlier this year. We’re looking forward to bringing in the collection of Bluey bedding, cushions, blankets and towels later this year. We’ll be supporting the new collection with PR and influencer gifting to spread the joy of Bluey and her family, and to also promote the introduction of BCI cotton into our manufacturing as we strive to deliver on our commitment to sustainability in licensing.”
The Bluey ‘Family’ bedding set is available this autumn. For more information, contact Dreamtex on 0844 499 8465 or email enquiries@dreamtexltd.com.
