Brainstorm’s moon products see sales boom

The John Lewis Christmas advert has created a buzz around space inspired products.

moonglobe480Last week saw the launch of the John Lewis Christmas TV ad, and since then retailers have been busy stocking up on telescopes. However, Brainstorm Toys has noticed an increase in all products space related, not just telescopes.

The educational toy retailer has seen an increase in demand for its moon products, especially its new Illuminated Moon Globe.

Debra Tiffany, marketing manager at Brainstorm Toys, said: “John Lewis continues to surpass itself every Christmas, and this year’s ad is more thought provoking than ever. We noticed a surge in demand for our moon products almost immediately, and think that it’s because they show the details and complexity of the moon much like in the ad. We can’t promise a man on the moon, but what we can promise is that children will have a lot of fun learning about this amazing planet with the help of our products.”

As well as the Illuminated Moon Globe, the RC Illuminated Moon is also proving popular.
