BTHA launches new 2014 Make Time 2 Play advertisements

Published on: 27th March 2014

The Make Time 2 Play campaign, run by the British Toy and Hobby Association, has produced new advertisements for 2014 appearing across children’s TV channels.

Thanks to the generously donated airtime, the new advertisements are currently being broadcast through Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, Five/Milkshake, Sky Kids, ITVB and Turner. The advertisements will, for the first time, also be shown during children’s cinema screenings thanks to sponsorship secured by media agency DCM across Odeon, Cineworld, Vue and Picturehouse screens.

With special thanks to Disneymedia+, the integrated ad sales, promotions and marketing solutions arm of Disney UK and Ireland, who devised the new creative and who also produced idents appearing both on Disney XD and Tiny Pop.

Natasha Crookes, the BTHA’s director of communications and public affairs, said: “A huge thank you especially to Disney for their time and efforts in creating fantastic new ads for the campaign. Thanks to Jeff Taylor of Arena Azure for co-ordinating with all of our media partners who have once again so generously donated airtime to the campaign, making it possible for us to broadcast our new advertisements to a wide audience.”
