Toy World’s bumper January edition will showcase new ranges to buyers – get involved

Published on: 12th November 2020

Work is getting underway on Toy World’s biggest annual issue, the bumper January edition. Here is all you need to know about how you can get involved.

With the recent confirmation that the London, Nuremberg and New York Toy Fairs won’t be happening in Q1 next year, Toy World can offer the perfect platform to showcase the brands and products you would have highlighted at the shows.

We will be running the latest instalment in our ‘Show Off’ series of features as part of the January edition, giving everyone the opportunity to highlight their new launches to buyers, as we enter what would traditionally be Toy Fair Season.

This issue will be mailed out to all the retailers who would have visited these events, so  offers the perfect opportunity to put your products in front of toy retailers as they start their selection process for the autumn winter period. Even though trade shows and international buying trips won’t be happening, buyers still have to buy – and we will make sure they can still read about all the new launches in Toy World.

The bumper January edition will land on buyers’ desks and be placed online on 5th January. With buyers not travelling to Hong Kong or having to prep for London and Nuremberg, they will have plenty of time to give their full attention to what is traditionally our largest and most comprehensive issue of the year – the ‘big one.’

A special Hot Properties licensing feature will also give licensors the perfect opportunity to influence retail buyers across the kids’ sector and help support their licensees across Q1 and during the crucial autumn winter retail selection period. Although licensors may not be able to meet with licensees and buyers in person, Toy World can help to maintain visibility and ensure their brands are front of mind.

Of course, the issue will also contain all our regular features, including Talking Shop and Allegedly, together with exclusive feature interviews and a roundup of the latest news.
