Canimals launching this Easter

Easter 2013 sees the launch of Vivid’s new toy range based on Aardman’s popular animated programme, Canimals.Canimals~Talking300

The programme, which launched in September last year has become one of CITV’s flagship kids shows, airing daily and is delivering the second highest average audience viewing figures against competitors in the afternoons.

Proving a hit with viewers, The Canimals achieved a peak audience of 153,800 viewers 4th Feb 2013 during the after school block and will air across the Easter holidays from 2.50pm starting Easter Monday.

Alongside the show, the Canimals website features competitions, games, facts about the show and links to a range of apps which have had 3,800,000 global downloads to date. Aardman’s social community of over 5m fans will see the antics of the Canimals via the Facebook page.

This month the new toy range is launched in major UK retailers. A multi-platform marketing and PR campaign will accompany the launch of the toys, including TV advertising, social media and print campaigns.

Squeeze the Talking Canimals’s ears to hear them meow or bark. Choose from Ato, Oz or Mimi.

The Squeaky Canimals are available as single figures or as part of a three pack, these Canimals squeak when you squeeze them like they do on screen. Choose from Ato, Oz, Mimi, Fizzy and Nia in the single packs or get Mimi, Oz and the exclusive Leon character in the three pack.

The Canimals Keyrings are soft keyrings, with three to collect – Ato, Mimi or Oz with more characters coming soon.
