Cartamundi adds famous London landmarks to Shuffle Monopoly card game

Published on: 18th January 2017

Shuffle Monopoly Deal Cities will now feature the London Dungeons, Harrods and more.

cartamundi480Shuffle Monopoly Deal card game, based on the iconic Hasbro game, has proved one of the most popular games in the Shuffle line. Now the Shuffle Monopoly Deal Cities card game takes the game to the next level by incorporating London’s landmarks and famous venues into the gameplay.

The card game is available for delivery to toy shops, gift shops, tourist outlets and supermarkets now. All property cards contain photographs of famous features of the London landscape such as Saint Paul’s, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, as well as more recent favourites like the London Dungeon and London Transport Museum. Even the action cards contain famous images.

The cards also include the nearest tube station to guide tourists directly to the landmarks, while the Monopoly tokens are now ways to travel around the city, such as the taxi, bus, underground, or river bus.

Like the many other successful games in the Shuffle range, there’s a free Shuffle Monopoly Deal Cities card game app available through Apple iOS and Android. The app offers animated video guides to the game.

The arrival of the Monopoly Deal Cities card game follows the successful launch of a wide selection of games in the Shuffle range, combining famous game brands, famous characters and sometimes both, in titles as varied as Paw Patrol and Game of Thrones.

Marco van Haaften, international marketing director, Cartamundi Services NV, commented: “Visitors to London are expected to offer an especially strong market for this fantastic game, which will remind them of the fun and excitement to be had in one of the world’s greatest cities — through an exciting new take on one of the world’s greatest games.”
