In addition to attending key industry events such as Toy Fair, Spring Fair and mi-Christmas Open House, Cartamundi has appointed a new PR agency and signed new deals for Disney’s Monsters University and Planes, as well as Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Several new products have just launched including Visualise, a new fast-paced picture game that puts your memory to the test!
A unique product in the market, Visualise launched earlier this month and has received really positive feedback from retail. Cartamundi has secured distribution in Tesco and most recently, The Entertainer for AW13. Two new deals were signed with Disney for Monsters University and Planes in early 2013 and Cartamundi has now produced and launched three Monsters University card games and two Planes card games. The fun new card games include a Monsters University and Planes branded version of the traditional Happy Families game and targets children aged 5–8 years old.
Cartamundi appointed miPR to handle all trade, consumer and social media relations in May 2013. The PR programme implemented by the team has already seen Cartamundi’s popular poker sets being selected to feature in the new film, Electricity, that is due to premiere later this year.
Cartamundi recently showcased their new products for Autumn/Winter 2013 at miPR’s annual Christmas preview event, mi-Christmas Open House. Trade and consumer journalists attended the two day event and feedback was very positive, specifically for the new games Visualise and My Uno. Cartamundi also attended Toy Fair and Spring Fair earlier this year and are looking forward to showcasing their new products ranges at Autumn Fair and BLE in September and October.
