Carte Blanche founder goes ‘back to the floor’

Published on: 28th November 2012

As part of the company’s 25th anniversary celebrations, Stephen Haines worked alongside his staff in all departments for a two-day period.

From reception to customer services, to credit control, sales support and warehouse, Stephen had a catch-up on all departments.

Stephen founded Carte Blanche Greetings back in 1987 with just 12 greetings cards. 25 years on, the company has enjoyed tremendous success and is now an international creator, distributor and licensor of character-branded products including greeting cards, toys, gifts, homeward and apparel.

“It’s been an amazing journey” said Stephen. “I can’t believe it’s been 25 years since it all began. Going back to the floor was a real eye opener. It was great to relive some amazing memories from the past and also to get more up to speed with the technology that exists within the company. The last year has been one of the toughest of all 25, but we are in great shape to face the new year and beyond.”
