The fresh take on Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 appeared on TV screens back in October 2016.

Ben 10Now, as International Licensing Expo 2017 prepares to open its doors, Cartoon Network is readying for the UK free-to-air premiere of the boys’ action adventure show on CITV and ITV this Sunday 21st May.

The brand new 40 x 11 minute episodes of Ben 10 currently air on Cartoon Network in the UK and will debut on CITV and ITV this Sunday. Providing a boost for the show’s broadcast exposure, the terrestrial channel will then continue to air Ben 10 as part of its primetime line-up.

Targeting a new generation of boys aged four to eight years, the all-new Ben 10 sees the energetic, fun-loving, Ben Tennyson return in his original and favourite form, as a 10 year old boy who transforms into aliens. Since premiering in EMEA last October, this latest iteration has already reached over 27 million individuals across the region.

Graham Saltmarsh, director of licensing, UK and Nordics, Cartoon Network Enterprises EMEA, commented: “With the imminent launch on CITV and ITV, we’re delighted that even more boys in the UK will soon be able to enjoy the fantastic new Ben 10 adventures. We’re confident that the channel’s popularity, coupled with its wide reach will undoubtedly fuel demand for Ben 10 consumer products in the UK market.”

Cartoon Network EMEA is also ramping up to the roll-out of a brand-new Ben 10 merchandise line that will be kicked off this summer by master toy partner Playmates’ new toy range. Giochi Preziosi Group is on board as the pan-European marketing and distribution partner for the toy range, and Flair will be distributing in the UK.
