Cartoon Network is headlining its BLE slate this year with top-rated, award-winning comedy series Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball. In the wake of successful deals with H&M, Asda, Tesco and others for Adventure Time, Cartoon Network is looking forward to forging new and interesting partnerships for the contemporary comedy brand.
Cartoon Network’s multi-platform franchise Mixels and its long-standing boys’ brand Ben 10 (now grossing $2bn in retail sales in EMEA with over 100m toys sold worldwide) also feature strongly in its BLE offering for 2014.
Cartoon Network’s original franchise The Powerpuff Girls will be celebrated at a themed cocktail party on the stand with the chance to win a one-of-a-kind Powerpuff Girls-inspired handbag by London designer Joanne Stoker. An all-new series produced by Cartoon Network Studios and a full international licensing programme is slated for 2016. The Powerpuff Girls remains one of the top-grossing Cartoon Network brands of all time, with more than $2.5bn in retail sales.
